First of all, why is this catfish-joe.blogspot.com I hear you asking. Well, catfish.blogspot.com was already taken. Which, of course, begs the question "why catfish?" Well, two reasons.
First of all, I'll eat about anything once. I'll pick at the dregs of your dinner after you've already eaten the good stuff (unless I ordered the same thing). I'll tip the almost-empty bag of chips up to pour the crumbs down my throat (after all, all the little flavor crystals end up there). I'll squeeze an empty bottle of beer to get the last drop out, no matter how warm it is. And so on. You get the idea.
Second, it's also my investing style. I tend to buy stock in companies that are near their bottoms, or at least I hope so. Sometimes it works, but sometimes, like the mighty catfish itself, they never swim out of the muck. I'm trying to remedy that situation by selling these guys short, now!

Maybe I should hunt down Emily and see if she'd be willing to part with catfish.blogspot.com...
